As part of this year’s Yahoo Celebrity Awards, Yahoo Philippines launched Yahoo on the Road, which toured various universities in Metro Manila bringing the fun and excitement to fans and students.  This was extremely successful as over 20,000 students took part in the festivities at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Lyceum of the Philippines University and finally, at the Far Eastern University.

FEU is  the final stop for Yahoo on the Road with a fascinating PEP rally that took place at the Far Eastern University Main campus in Sampaloc, Manila.  After the PEP Rally, Yahoo Celebrity Awards Nominees for Emerging bands, Cheats, Brisom, Chocolate Grass and Yolanda Moon performed for over four thousand students at the campus.  The students danced away as the evening ended on a high note with songs by one of the country’s hottest bands, Pupil!

The Yahoo on the Road bus is fully equipped with mobile phones and tablets where students experienced Yahoo’s latest products, took photos at the Flickr photobooth, and made requests for performers they want to see at the Yahoo Celebrity Awards Night to be held at the Mall of Asia Arena on July 18, 2014.  The bus served as a stage where the bands performed.  Aside from the emerging bands who performed, Rocksteddy and Sponge Cola brought the house down at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and Lyceum, respectively.
