Film Development Council of the Philippines: Holds First Korean Architecture Film Festival in cooperation with Seoul International Architecture Film Festival and Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines

At the first Korean Architectural Film Festival πŸŽ₯πŸ“½πŸŽ¬ Celebrating the continuing relationship between the Philippines and Korea, the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines (KCC) in partnership with Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) and Seoul International Architecture Film Festival (SIAFF) will launch the Korean Architectural Film Festival tomorrow, June 1, 2018, at FDCP Cinematheque Manila. The first of its kind, this Architectural Film Festival highlights not just the beauty of designs and structures, but its ability to reflect a society's identity and culture. FDCP completely supports this endeavor of the KCC to expand the bounds of film and appreciation of focused themes. The Festival will include a forum about Architecture, Urbanism and Film: Another Mode of Living with Korea panelist Yun Jae Seon, Seoul International Film Festival, Kim Young Woo, Busan International Film Festival and Kim Jeong In, Professor of Soongsil University. In celebration of the love and arts month, the Film Development Council of the Philippines presents ‘Sining Sinta,’ featuring the arts and creation of our local painters, and artists.

Gala and opening of art exhibit is on Feb. 08, 2017 followed by a FREE film screening of ‘Ang Babae sa Likod ng Mambabatok’ (The Woman Behind the Tattoo Artist) directed by Lauren Marie Sevilla Faustino.

Exhibit is open for viewing until February 15, 2017 at Cinematheque Manila (855 T. M. Kalaw Ave., Ermita Manila)
